R&P: Epidemic

We are so delighted to be working alongside Imperial College London to launch our new project series:

R&P: Where Research Meets Performance

R&P: Epidemic explores the pandemic and its impact on young people.

The key aim is to engage young people aged 14-20 from underrepresented backgrounds with research material from Imperial College London and use this research as a stimulus for creating work.

The project provides our young members with a platform to collaborate with each other digitally, to share their experiences, stories and viewpoints, and to offer their own take and insight on the recent events.

We are looking for young people interested in: Writing, Digital Media, Directing and Acting, to work collaboratively to bring 5 short pieces to life.

The pieces will be developed and rehearsed over Zoom in partnership with the Burnt Orange team and Imperial College London, and then will be presented digitally.

In accordance with our ethos, this is a collaborative process, and we encourage open and creative dialogue between all of the creatives involved.

We have allocated funds to provide young people with any resources they might need to bring their project to life, and we will offer all participants £50 as a participation contribution.
